Chapel at Missionhurst in Arlington, Virginia
It may have been in this chapel when Dr. Jerry Galloway realized that God was just waiting for him to come back and fulfill the role that He had for his life.
One role of CICM missionaries is to give witness to God’s love by living among the people. They share in their poverty and hardships. CICM missionaries become trusted members of the communities where they serve. They work in close cooperation with local churches to promote Christian values, human dignity, self-reliance, and a decent standard of living. All the while, they also share the hope and truth of the Gospel.
The book, when published, will detail how Dr. Jerry Galloway did each of those things as he devoted his life to the pygmies.
