I am honored to be on the Friends of IMCK board as we support the Christian Medical Institute of Kasai (IMCK) in the Democratic Republic of Congo. IMCK is one of the very few high-quality hospitals in the country and serves a region of over two million people.
Established in 1954, IMCK has persevered through pandemics, wars, and shortages while providing excellent medical care. The hospital teaches nurses, lab technicians, and medical residents, ensuring that healthcare leadership continues.
Stories of courage and compassion among healthcare workers during the Covid-19 pandemic have moved us all. Healthcare workers here and around the world remain dedicated but tired. They draw strength from our thanks and encouragement.
The workers at IMCK need our support to continue their work. The Friends of IMCK is building an endowment fund whose proceeds will provide critical financial assistance.
We invite you to help IMCK by donating to the IMCK Endowment Fund. Please go to www.imck.org to donate today. Thank you!
