The barge arrived in Kiri, loaded with all the items I ordered. The chauffeurs were there with two tractors and wagons. We were up early the following day to start unloading. We cut the boards that UNESCO had donated to make 450 desks for the Botoa schools.
We planned to leave for home the next day, but we had a delay. A torrential downpour woke us. When the rain stopped, the caravan of two tractors, wagons, and the Toyota left for the mission. My children were thrilled when we pulled into the boarding school to unload 2,000 smoked fish. They also wanted their Christmas gifts of shirts for the boys and blouses for the girls.
