Jerry Galloway making his vows to become a Brother with CICM
During his time in the seminary, Jerry spent time in reflection and prayer. Jerry came to accept that not only were his medical skills important and needed, but, he was being sent to help people find what he had, God.
Inspired by their founder, Missionhurst missionaries have proclaimed the Good News of the Gospel in some of the most remote places on earth.
This would certainly describe Pendjua, Congo where Jerry was assigned. Once he had arrived there he bemused that it was “at the end of the earth”.
Jerry later confirmed that he could have given up the medicine, but never the teaching of God’s word and the sharing of God’s love with others.
