Update From the Congo

Updated: Nov 22, 2023

If you read "Courage in the Congo," you know of the horrors of war that Dr. Jerry Galloway faced. Today, Don and Jenya Foster, Congo missionaries, face those same horrors. Don writes:

"Ugandan troops, tanks, artillery, fighter jets, and helicopters have entered Beni territory in D. R. Congo to fight an ISIS-aligned group that has massacred thousands and displaced a million people here. It is surreal. We are living in an active international war zone. I see dozens of profoundly wounded soldiers in the hospital every week. We give them solar audio bibles provided by InTouch. Like you, we have expenditures for food, medicine, salaries, and school fees. The medicine we buy for people here is over $500 per month. School fees include 942 additional Mbuti Pygmy students. We pay for their school fees, uniforms, shoes, pens, etc. Luke 12:48 says, 'when someone has been entrusted with much, even more, will be required.'"

You can read many inspiring stories on Don's Facebook page (Don Love More Foster). If you would like to feed starving prisoners, buy medicine, pay school fees or help the children, you can give online at: https://www.dunamis.vegas/give/ (Choose LYNA – Don Foster) or Zelle them at JesusLoverDon@gmail.com (not tax-deductible). Zelle is preferred - it is free and easy.
