What Do You See?

This photo may look like dirt to you. Maybe you will notice the barb-wired walls of a prison. Don Foster, Congo missionary, sees a beautiful plowed field full of corn for starving prisoners.
Don states, "I used to stress so much with a handful of prisoners to plow this very field. After the UN built the wall around the prison, they drove a tractor here, plowed where they could, and planted corn. The challenge is plowing and planting the rest of the hilly land that a tractor can't reach. Then, the challenge will be to squeeze enough food out of this land to feed 935 men continually."
Many prisoners in D. R. Congo starve to death in prisons. Many others needlessly die of diseases due to being malnourished. Unless their family brings food or money, poor prisoners simply do not eat. Don stated, "One day Jesus will say to us, "...I was hungry, and you gave Me something to eat... I was in prison, and you visited Me.' because, '...whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers of Mine, you did for Me.'"
I admire that Don and Jenya have the same heart and courage that Dr. Jerry displayed in "Courage of the Congo."
You can read many inspiring stories on Don's Facebook page (Don Love More Foster). If you would like to feed starving prisoners, buy medicine, pay school fees or help the children, you can give online at: https://www.dunamis.vegas/give/ (Choose LYNA – Don Foster) or Zelle them at JesusLoverDon@gmail.com (not tax-deductible). Zelle is preferred - it is free and easy.
